The whole of Ricardo’s team at Monkfield Dental are wonderful. I had not been to the dentist in two decades and it required someone special to gain my trust. I have had two appointments here recently, after almost 10 years of not visiting a dentist! This is a brand new practice, with modern decor and immaculately clean. The receptionist is very welcoming and eases your mind, if like me, you're a bit nervous. The dentist himself is a young, friendly practitioner who makes the extra effort to introduce himself personally with a big warm smile. He goes through the procedure with you - and explains the results of your X-rays & photographs. There is good communication between dentist and patient throughout the examination - so that too helps to calm and nerves. I had a new filling on my second visit and a complete clean (which was sorely needed!). All in all, for me at least, this was a smooth and pleasant experience - despite my low threshold to pain! Happy to go back there in 6 months time for another check-up.
