The initial examination was thorough, with a set of X-rays and a clear, well-explained treatment plan. I had a complex filling done, and the process went smoothly without any issues. The whole of Ricardo’s team at Monkfield Dental are wonderful. I had not been to the dentist in two decades and it required someone special to gain my trust. The team quickly made me feel at ease and helped to alleviate the unwanted stress of visiting the dentist. They have really impressive new facilities that can provide for all of your dentistry needs. The preliminary investigations felt far more meticulous and comprehensive than anything I have ever received from previous NHS dentists. The problems with my teeth were clearly outlined to me and a clear treatment plan was shared with me before moving forwards. I felt well informed every step of the way and Ricardo made every effort to explain what was happening during each procedure and to ensure that I was comfortable throughout the process. I will keep returning to Monkfield for treatment in the future and can happily recommend them to anyone that is searching for a new clinic.

I have had two appointments here recently, after almost 10 years of not visiting a dentist! This is a brand new practice, with modern decor and immaculately clean. The receptionist is very welcoming and eases your mind, if like me, you're a bit nervous. The dentist himself is a young, friendly practitioner who makes the extra effort to introduce himself personally with a big warm smile. He goes through the procedure with you - and explains the results of your X-rays & photographs. There is good communication between dentist and patient throughout the examination - so that too helps to calm and nerves. I had a new filling on my second visit and a complete clean (which was sorely needed!). All in all, for me at least, this was a smooth and pleasant experience - despite my low threshold to pain! Happy to go back there in 6 months time for another check-up.
