Really great experience at Monkfield Dental! Had previously been for hygiene consults elsewhere and always ended being underwhelmed by the results, to a point where I stopped going. I was blown away by how much of a difference a consultation with Dr. Ricardo made to my teeth. I really valued the advice I was given, which I felt to be adequate and sincere. The clinic looks amazing, a pleasant and calm space where to receive treatment. I will be looking to have regular appointments with Dr Ricardo from now.

I cannot recommend Monkfield Dental enough, and Ricardo is truly a standout. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him; he made every step of the process so smooth and stress-free. He’s not just an incredible dentist but also such a kind soul, which makes all the difference when you’re in the chair.Abi at reception is just as lovely – so warm and welcoming. From the moment you walk through the door, you can tell they genuinely care about their patients and go above and beyond to make you feel at ease. Going to the dentist is never something one looks forward to – you go because you must. I broke a tooth and I happened upon Monkfield Dental. I have an anxious personality and was scared. Dr. Ricardo Macedo is friendly, kind and professional and, above all, very patient. I needed various visits, and always received caring attention from Dr. Ricardo and the other members of his team.

From the very warm welcome by the receptionist to the skill and patience of Ricardo, I have never felt so calm about going to the dentist The treatment is first class with state of the art equipment. I'd left it a lot of years without any dental care, as have not been able to get an NHS appointment, but decided enough was enough and I should get a once over. The team there were lovely, efficient and got me in and out quickly. Would very much recommend.

After leaving it a lot longer than I should have, I summoned the courage to visit Ricardo at his newly opened practice. The practice instantly feels a welcoming and calm space which really helps calm the nerves. Ricardo took the time to explain and show me what needed to be done, and never did he make me feel guilty nor ashamed for my lack of dentist attendance over the years (this was also another thing I worried about!)I returned for my procedures which were all completed in one appointment. I had a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist due to past experiences but feel that I will now be able to attend consistently to keep on top of things a lot better. Thank you.I recommend this practice especially to nervous patients :)

I would like to say a big thank you to Ricardo & his assistant for the very caring way that they removed two teeth one which was a upper wisdom & the one next to itI had previously been waiting in pain with a continuous infection for over two years p.m. whilst waiting for the hospital to remove themMy husband was so annoyed by this continuous waiting & seeing me in pain he then decided to join Monkfield dental practiceAfter a very warm welcome Ricardo did a full consultancy & agreed to remove these two teeth asap after scans he removed them last Thursday & I am now in recoveryWe are so pleased with Ricardo & his team we would recommend them to everyone

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Pietro Mannino and nurse Georgia Tobitt, and I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and care. The initial examination was thorough, with a set of X-rays and a clear, well-explained treatment plan. I had a complex filling done, and the process went smoothly without any issues. What an amazing dental surgery. Bring a nervous patient I was so worried about having a tooth extraction but ricardo and his wonderful assistant put me at ease. I recently visited Monkfield Dental Clinic and was extremely impressed with the service I received, from start to finish .The clinic was clean , very nice interior and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional and they coped with my humour 😅.The dentist was thorough and explained everything clearly, and even explained the anatomy and physiology of all the issues which arrived with some of my teeth in a very simple understandable manner with no jargon . This made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. The whole of Ricardo’s team at Monkfield Dental are wonderful. I had not been to the dentist in two decades and it required someone special to gain my trust. The team quickly made me feel at ease and helped to alleviate the unwanted stress of visiting the dentist. They have really impressive new facilities that can provide for all of your dentistry needs. The preliminary investigations felt far more meticulous and comprehensive than anything I have ever received from previous NHS dentists. The problems with my teeth were clearly outlined to me and a clear treatment plan was shared with me before moving forwards. I felt well informed every step of the way and Ricardo made every effort to explain what was happening during each procedure and to ensure that I was comfortable throughout the process. I will keep returning to Monkfield for treatment in the future and can happily recommend them to anyone that is searching for a new clinic.

I cannot say enough positive things about Monkfield Dental! When my son experienced a dental emergency and we couldn't get a response from his regular dentist, we turned to Monkfield Dental for help. From the very first call, we were met with exceptional service. Doctors Ricardo and Pietro exhibited remarkable care and professionalism throughout the entire process of treating my son's tooth.My son is quite anxious when it comes to dental visits, but they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at ease. Despite the complexity of the situation, they skillfully completed a root canal treatment without causing any additional stress or discomfort.What truly impressed me was the thoroughness of each visit. We never felt rushed or overlooked; instead, every aspect of my son's dental care was carefully attended to.

I have had two appointments here recently, after almost 10 years of not visiting a dentist! This is a brand new practice, with modern decor and immaculately clean. The receptionist is very welcoming and eases your mind, if like me, you're a bit nervous. The dentist himself is a young, friendly practitioner who makes the extra effort to introduce himself personally with a big warm smile. He goes through the procedure with you - and explains the results of your X-rays & photographs. There is good communication between dentist and patient throughout the examination - so that too helps to calm and nerves. I had a new filling on my second visit and a complete clean (which was sorely needed!). All in all, for me at least, this was a smooth and pleasant experience - despite my low threshold to pain! Happy to go back there in 6 months time for another check-up.
